“Conor is old news. Tony Ferguson deserves the chance more than Conor. He has the most wins in a row. Conor is 2-1 in his last three fights. I'm tired of talking about Conor. I'm 24-0. I'm ready to defend my undisputed title against the Tony Ferguson. I don’t care about Conor, I care about the belt”, said the fighter in a document sent to “Fox Sports” (USA).
Recently, Khabib stated that he would like to “play” with McGregor, but that he could not wait for the Irishman, who announced that he will be away for a few months, due to his wife's pregnancy. The UFC has not yet taken a position on the situation, and for now, the interim lightweight belt has been ruled out.
Khabib Nurmagomedov, 28 years old, is undefeated in professional MMA, with 24 wins in 24 fights. Among his most famous victims are Rafael dos Anjos, Michael Johnson, Thiago tavares and Gleison Tibau.
