The Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission (CABMMA) announced this Monday (21) the medical suspensions of the athletes who fought in the UFC Sao Paulo, held last Saturday (19), at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium. Rogério Minotouro, who was knocked out by Ryan bader In the main fight of the night, he received the biggest suspension of the event, and will have to spend at least 30 days without any physical contact and 45 days without fighting.
In addition to Minotouro, three more fighters will have to stay away from the Octagon for 45 days: bantamweights Albert Morales and Manvel Gamburyan, knockout artist for Thomas almeida e Johnny Eduardo, respectively, and the Brazilian Francimar Bodão, who lost to Darren stewart in the first fight of the preliminary card.
Brazilians, on the other hand, Thales leites and Warlley Alvez, points losses to Krzysztof Jotko e Kamaru Usman, respectively, will not be able to fight in the next 30 days, the same situation as Jotko himself. All other athletes 15 athletes on the card received a minimum suspension of seven days without physical contact and 14 without fighting.
