Minotouro intimates Bader at the UFC São Paulo weigh-in and guarantees: 'He will leave with defeat'

Rogério Minotouro guaranteed that he will avenge his old defeat against Ryan bader and will get the better of the main fight of the UFC Sao Paulo, an event that takes place on Saturday night (19), at the Ibirapuera gym.

During the official weigh-in for the show, held on Friday night, Minotouro was applauded by the crowd and made a serious face against the North American. Afterwards, in the official interview, he assured that fans will enjoy a good fight in the Octagon. “Fighting at home, after many years, in a good phase of my career... I'm coming off a big knockout and Bader will fight in ours, so he'll come away with the defeat. It will be a struggle”, said the Brazilian.

Bader, who was moderately booed, delivered a respectful speech. “He is a legend, I respect him a lot. Even though you’re not rooting for me, I hope to hear your applause after the fight,” he said.

Two representatives from São Paulo received the most applause at the weigh-in. Thomas almeida e Sergio Moraes were praised by the fans present, while another São Paulo native, Marcos Foot, entered the stage emotionally.

Thomas had a tense face to face with Albert Morales and heard his rival say “uh, he’s going to die”. The others faced with animosity involved Johnny Eduardo and Manny Gamburyan, Francimar Bodão and Darren stewart e Cezar Mutant e Jack hermansson.

All 24 athletes in the event beat the weight for their categories without any major difficulties. O UFC Sao Paulo will be held this Saturday (19) and will start at 21pm (Brasília time) with full coverage of the SUPER FIGHTS, with narration of the fights in real time, combat reports and post-event interviews.
