McGregor responds to Mayweather's criticism: 'Say it to my face'

Provoked by Floyd Mayweather after his historic feat in the UFC, Conor McGregor he responded to the former boxer in a brief and direct manner. The Irishman, featherweight and lightweight champion of the largest MMA organization on the planet, asked Mayweather to repeat his criticisms “to his face”.

Last Saturday (12), at the UFC's debut in New York City (USA), McGregor ran over Eddie Alvarez to win his second belt. Even though it was a historic feat, Floyd stated that he did not even watch the fight and refuted the statement that McGregor would be the “Mayweather of MMA”.

Asked by the website “TMZ” if he believed that Mayweather had not watched the fight, McGregor responded with another question: “You Do you believe him?” he said.

Furthermore, the Irishman didn't like being called an “ant” by the North American: “Tell him to say that to my face”, he shouted, quickly and irritably.

McGregor, 28 years old, is considered one of the biggest stars in MMA today. The Irishman is the only athlete in UFC history to hold two belts in different categories.
