Rafael Sapo says he is ready for UFC 133
The Brazilian Rafael “Sapo” Natal This Saturday, at UFC 133, he will make his third appearance in the organization. Coming from a sequence of one defeat and one draw, the Tupiniquim black belt is looking for his first victory in the promotion and does not hide his optimism to face Paul Bradley. In an interview with the North American website MMA Weekly, the athlete from Minas Gerais stated that he was fully prepared to achieve victory inside the most famous octagon in the world.
“In the UFC, I still haven’t shown who I am Rafael Sapo", he said. “This time I don't have any injuries, because last time I fought with stitches in my eye. This time, I'm training hard and I don't have any injuries. This is really going to be the Rafael Sapo that everyone wants to see. I will be 100 percent,” she added.
Sapo also revealed that he does not feel pressure due to the risk of being fired in the event of a new setback, however, he does not expect to leave the duel without a triumph, to dedicate the achievement to the people who helped him during the preparation period.
“I don't think about it (resignation), but I want this victory because I've never gone two fights without winning, and now I really need this victory.” “It’s for me, for my family, my coach Renzo (Gracie)… All these guys believe in me a lot. I need this victory for the UFC, I need it to show that I have improved for everyone”, concluded the Brazilian.
