UFC 206, an event that will take place in Toronto, Canada, on December 10th, has won another important fight. This is a duel between Max Holloway e Anthony Pettis, valid for the featherweight category. In the main fight of the night, the champion Daniel Cormier face Anthony Johnson in a rematch for the light heavyweight belt.
Holloway, 24, has an incredible record of nine consecutive victories in the category. His last performance was against Ricardo Lamas, in June, when he won by unanimous decision from the judges. Third in the rankings, he has 16 wins and three losses in his career, with 12 triumphs in Ultimate alone.
Pettis, in turn, is trying to turn his career around. After suffering three consecutive defeats as a lightweight, a division in which he was champion, the American dropped down in weight and debuted at featherweight, submitting Brazilian Charles Oliveira last August. Currently sixth in the rankings, a victory over Holloway puts him very close to a new title shot.
