Even though he had already made his UFC debut, Chris Cyborg revealed that he still has resentment due to some disagreements with the organization in the past. The Brazilian did not forget some criticisms made in the past by Dana White, president of Ultimate, and accused the organization of wanting to hide her world title at the Invicta event.

On the website “MixedMartialArts.com”, Cyborg compared the treatment he received in recent years with that given to Ronda Rousey. “People ask me, 'What did Dana do for Ronda that she didn't do for Cyborg?' Well, he lied. He never said that Ronda looks like Wanderlei Silva in a dress, but he said that about me. For almost six years I had to watch him control the press. I've heard Ronda say that I have a penis and that I need to cut it off to make weight. I had to deal with it” she vented. “Before, I didn’t even speak English. I couldn’t defend myself and I didn’t even have the opportunity.”

The Brazilian also stated that the UFC does not value her history in MMA. “I'm the world champion at 66 kg, and they want me to go down to fight at 63 kg. They don't want to show anyone that I'm a champion. When I made videos for the UFC, I couldn't use my belt. This is ridiculous. They can’t erase my career,” she added.

Cyborg has already had two fights for the UFC and won both without much difficulty. In May of this year, he surpassed Leslie Smith in Curitiba; In September, he ran over Lina Lansberg in Brasília.
