If it depends on Wanderlei Silva, rivalry with Chael Sonnen there may be new chapters soon. The 'Mad Dog', as he is known, once again reaffirmed his desire to face his rival as soon as the suspension received by the Nevada Athletic Commission for evading an anti-doping test in May 2014 comes to an end.

“Here in the USA I can start (fighting) again from May (2017), if I'm not mistaken, but if I see Sonnen on the street, I don't know if this fight won't come out sooner than later. I have a score to settle with him too. I've already almost hit one in Japan... I have half a dozen that, if I see it, I won't hold back”, Wand told the website 'Combate.com'

Declared enemies, Wanderlei and Sonnen came to blows during the recording of the reality show 'The Ultimate Fighter Brasil 3', in 2014, when the two were the edition's technicians. After the program, however, both were suspended for doping and the duel did not take place. Now, in a new home after signing with Bellator, Wand guarantees that the rivalry will finally leave the imagination of MMA fans.

“I have a personal disagreement with Sonnen and I'm sure it's a fight that the public would like to see, especially to see me punch him. And I would like to too, right? That's the good thing about our sport, you can resolve disagreements by going to court. I'm sure this fight will happen and I'm sure Bellator will make this fight possible”, concluded the Brazilian.
