Recent statements from José Aldo, Stating that I wouldn't fight in other organizations, which he classified as “series B” of MMA, were not well received by Patrício ‘Pitbull’, former Bellator featherweight champion. Patrício not only condemned Aldo's statements, but he said he was beginning to believe in Conor McGregor, who accused the Brazilian of ‘running away’.

“Aldo should remember that he was once a fighter for the WEC, an organization said to be smaller than the UFC and that everyone said he wouldn’t be able to beat any of the top guys there. It seems he forgot that the current UFC lightweight champion (70 kg) was once Bellator champion. I start to agree with McGregor about things he said about Aldo, more specifically when he said that Aldo couldn't be there anymore. I don’t think Aldo is being smart by expressing himself that way”, he said in an interview with the North American website MMA Junkie.

When criticizing his compatriot, ‘Pitbull” recalled the fact that some of Aldo’s partners work for Bellator and other companies considered smaller. For him, the interim UFC featherweight champion lacked respect even towards his training partners.

“By attacking other organizations, he is not only closing doors, but he is also talking nonsense about several high-level athletes, including his training partners and friends, such as Eduardo Dantes and John ‘Macapá”, he concluded.

José Aldo had a meeting with Dana White this Wednesday (19) to resolve his future, but, it seems, the fighter is really willing to hang up the gloves.
