Peña rebels against Ronda's title fight: 'Spoiled brat'

Current fifth place in the UFC women's bantamweight division ranking, Julianna Pena was outraged by the fact that Ronda Rousey, and not her, will be the next to compete for the category belt against the champion, Amanda nunes.

The American of Venezuelan descent stated that Ronda has several perks within the organization. “It’s s***. That spoiled brat had it all handed to her, and she'll have it all handed to her again. Never in history have I heard of someone who lost with a brutal knockout, retired from the sport and then came back with an immediate title fight”, she said, in an interview with the North American website “MMA Fighting”.

Julianna has no doubts about the outcome of the duel between Ronda and Amanda. “This girl is mentally weak and Amanda nunes will knock her out and expose her. She’s the worst fighter on the roster and I can’t accept the fact that I’m not going to fight for the belt,” she continued.

Disappointed with her situation in the organization, Peña threatened to leave the UFC. “Maybe I'll fight for Combate Américas [a US organization aimed at the Latino public] or something like that, because it seems like they want to give me money and a belt, just like the UFC did with Ronda. Let’s see what happens,” she added.

the fight between Ronda Rousey e Amanda nunes will be held at UFC 207, an event that takes place on December 30th, in Las Vegas (USA). Peña, 27, has four wins in four fights in the UFC.
