Amanda nunes became UFC champion by submitting Miesha Tate at UFC 200, held in July this year. At 28 years old, the “Leoa”, as she is known, has already had seven fights in Ultimate, with six positive results and only one negative – against Cat Zíngano, more than two years ago. This will be the first time that the Brazilian will put her belt on the line.
Ronda hasn't fought since November last year, when she lost the belt brutally to Holly holm at UFC 193, in Melbourne, Australia. Previously, she had defended the category belt on seven occasions, winning all of her fights by knockout or submission. In total, there are 12 victories and only one defeat in his career.
Since then, the belt has changed hands twice: Holm was defeated by Miesha Tate in March, and Tate ended up dethroned by Amanda in July. UFC 207 should also feature a rematch between Fabricio Werdum x Cain Velazquez.
