MMA fighter Julian Wallace attacked his then-fiancée, fellow athlete Jessy Jess, but ended up getting hurt. The Australian ended up being knocked out with a kick to the head before the police arrived and was detained at the scene.

The episode took place on April 28, but only came to light during Wallace's testimony to the court last week. According to the version presented by the fighter (and confirmed by her fiance), the athlete was angry with Jess when she brought him the wrong dinner from the street. Wallace also insinuated that his partner arrived home late because she was cheating on him, which began a series of attacks.
According to reports, Wallace attacked Jess with kicks to the head, body and elbows. He then began a chokehold, but Jess managed to escape and knocked out her fiancé with a kick to the head.
In an interview with the Australian newspaper “Daily Mail”, Jess highlighted the fact that she escaped a more tragic fate thanks to her skills as a fighter. “If I wasn’t in a business where I get hit every day, I hate to think what would have happened. I was scared for my own life, even though I do this every day,” she stated.
In a statement to the court, Wallace admitted guilt for what happened, but, shortly afterwards, he said he only did it so he could save money in the process. This Monday (3), the athlete posted nude photos of Jess on the internet and stated that, in fact, he was the victim of a violent relationship.
Wallace, 28 years old, has a professional record of six wins and four losses. Jess, who is the same age, had nine fights, with six wins, two losses and one no-contest.
