Considered one of the main boxers of recent times, Floyd Mayweather congratulated Conor McGregor for his achievements in the UFC, something he would have achieved thanks to the fact that he “stole” his style outside the ring.

McGregor was recently confirmed in the main fight of UFC 205, an event that takes place on November 12th, at the organization's debut in New York (USA). During the press conference to promote the show, last Tuesday (27), the Irishman stole the show with his extravagant style, which further increased expectations for the event.

Mayweather, who constantly tries to “dig” a fight with McGregor, this time put the animosity aside and praised the UFC champion for following his style in promotions. “If he took something from me, if he stole my style, I think it's a good thing. He is a tremendous fighter. He knows how to fight, he knows how to box very well. When it comes to fighting on the feet, he's very good. Everyone asks me when we're going to fight, and I just don't know. Within my company I am the boss. I make the decisions. I think it's a very difficult struggle to get married. I tried to do this before and it didn't happen, but living and learning”, he confessed, in an interview with the North American website “TMZ”.

“Money”, as he is known, retired from boxing last year, with 49 wins in 49 fights. McGregor will try to win his second UFC belt in November: the featherweight champion will face Eddie Alvarez for the lightweight title.
