Bisping blasts Dan Henderson: 'He's the Godfather of TRT'

The rivalry between Michael Bisping e Dan Henderson it seems to have no end. With less than two weeks to go before his rematch against Henderson in the main fight of UFC 204, an event that will take place in Manchester (ING), on October 8th, the current middleweight champion spared no criticism and irony when talking about his rival, who raised suspicions regarding the Englishman's physical conditioning.

“This is the result of a lot of sweat and hard work. For Henderson to say this already shows how dense he is. If you look at him, you can see that not much is happening with that Captain Caveman, Fred Flintstone, whatever you want to call him. He is a Neanderthal man. The fact is I didn't cut any weight for that fight. I went in there weighing 84kg, I was skinny as hell. Be ashamed of your face, Dan Henderson! I was tested more than anyone and I never even came close, there wasn't even a hint of suspicion in my tests. You can test my blood now, I’ll piss in any cup you want”, attacked Bisping during a press interview during an event in Los Angeles (USA).

Michael, as usual, questioned Henderson's past, accusing the 46-year-old veteran of doping throughout his career. It is important to highlight that the American was an admitted user of TRT (testosterone replacement therapy), but the treatment was banned by the Nevada Athletic Commission in early 2014.

"Dan Henderson, you are ‘The Godfather of TRT’. Be ashamed. This is the guy who said he needed TRT to be able to compete, but, years later, he continues to compete. He is a marvel of modern science. Maybe if we take his blood, we can find a cure for his cancer because he is an anomaly. (In that first fight) he was on steroids. He calls it TRT, but I call it steroids. He was changed. And now I have the chance to get revenge, shut him up and close this coffin once and for all,” he concluded.

This will be the second time that Bisping and Henderson will face each other. The first confrontation took place at the historic UFC 100, in 2009. On that occasion, Hendo delivered a brutal knockout to Michael in the second round of the fight.
