UFC president Dana White stated that the former champion Ronda Rousey still has the desire to measure strength with the Brazilian Chris Cyborg in the octagon in the future.

The two athletes are considered the greatest representatives in the history of women's MMA, and, for a long time, a duel between them was speculated. As much as Ronda has lost her undefeated record (and the belt) in the UFC, the manager guarantees that the American still hasn't put the idea out of her head.

“I can say this: Ronda wants to face Cyborg. She absolutely wants this fight. Let’s see what happens”, said White, in an interview with the North American website “TMZ Sports”.

White revealed that Ronda is already working hard to return to the Octagon, which could happen in 2016. “We're talking about her return this year, but we'll see what happens. She wanted some time away. She worked hard for four years and wanted some time off, and she deserved it. She's addressed some minor injuries, fixed what she needed to fix, and is getting 'sinister' again. She’s got her head on straight, so I think we’ll see her soon,” she said.

Ronda hasn't fought since November last year, when she lost to Holly holm by knockout at UFC 193. Cyborg had, last Saturday (24), her second fight in Ultimate, with a technical knockout victory against Lina Lansberg.
