The fight began with Trator landing a powerful punch on Durinho, which was a knockdown and called his compatriot to wait. In the open exchange, Michel and Durinho landed good blows, with the advantage for Durinho, who also knocked his opponent down. However, Trator recovered well and started connecting good blows on the counterattack. Michel managed a takedown, but quickly got up and avoided his rival's jiu-jitsu.

Right at the beginning of the second round, Durinho's accidental finger in Trator's eye interrupted the fight for a few moments. Then, Durinho connected with another illegal blow, this time a kick to the opponent's netherlands, being promptly reprimanded by the central referee, who promised to punish the Brackzilians athlete if the act was repeated. The fight resumed with Trator surrounding Gilbert, who was circling the Octagon. Durinho looked for the ground game and got into the legs, but Trator sprawled and defended. The round ended with Trator applying strong blows to his rival, who barely responded.

On the way back to the decisive round, the two fighters embraced in the center of the octagon. Then, Trator pressed and combined some jabs and crosses, until connecting with a powerful kick to Durinho's waistline, which he felt and went to the ground. Michinori Tanaka started the fight by landing two good hooks on Rani, who seemed uncomfortable fighting on the feet. The Japanese tried a kick to the waistline, but lost his balance and fell back. Yahya immediately went to the ground and performed a kata-gatame, remaining in the position for over a minute. Tanaka, with wide eyes, exploded, freed himself from the position and then got on top of the Brazilian, delivering a few blows to Yahya's waistline. Rani worked well and looked for the triangle, but the round came to an end.

On the way back to the second round, a low kick from Yahya on Tanaka stopped the fight for a few moments. Upon returning, the Japanese looked for open striking, but was quickly taken down by the Brazilian. On the ground, Tanaka managed to spin well and caught Rani in a crucifix. Patiently, Yahya spun, escaped and was in the 100kg position. There was still time for Rani to knock Michinori twice more before the horn sounded.

Tired, the Brazilian returned for the third round at a slower pace, while Tanaka continued with his aggressive stance. However, the film repeated itself and Rani once again took the fight to the ground, but the Japanese man rotated well and came out on top. Ineffective, the duel was put back on track by the central referee. In the final minute, Yahya attempted a double leg, well defended by Tanaka, who still had time to land a few blows on Rani's head before the timer ran to zero.

Jussier Formiga dominates North American on the ground and wins by decision

Number 3 in the rooster rankings, Jussier formiga showed, once again, why he is considered one of the main names in the division. With a sharp ground game, the Brazilian didn't give chances to the tough Dustin Ortiz and returned to the path of victory and won by unanimous decision from the judges. With the positive result, Formiga puts himself close to a possible title fight against the champion Demetrious Johnson.

The fight started with Ortiz kicking low, promptly answered by Formiga. The fight quickly went to the ground and the Brazilian worked on top, without much effectiveness. Dustin managed to reverse the position, but fell into the Brazilian's guard, who immediately sought his rival's arm, without success.

After the first break, the two fighters attempted a frank exchange, but the fight went to the ground again. On top, again, Jussier got the mount and went to the North American's back, trying for the rear naked choke. Ortiz defended himself in every possible way, but the Brazilian closed the triangle at the belt line and remained glued to his opponent's back until the bell sounded.

The rhythm of the third round was different, with both fighters looking to fight on their feet. Formiga landed a good combination on Ortiz, who recovered well. Halfway through the round, Jussier abused his technique and again went for Dustin's back, taking the fight to the ground. At home, Formiga repeated the film from the second round and I continued to dominate the North American, always looking for the finish. Dede Perderneira, the Brazilian's coach, shouted from the sidelines for his pupil to “grab” the opponent's neck. However, with less than 15 seconds left, Ortiz managed to free himself and was on top, but he didn't have time to work.

Erick Silva submits Luan Chagas in electrifying fight

In the best fight on the preliminary card, it was Erick silva, who submitted Luan Chagas in the first 100% Brazilian duel of the night. Full of twists and turns, the fight lived up to expectations and was well contested, with knockdowns for both parties. With the victory, Erick eliminates the risk of dismissal and wins again after two consecutive setbacks. Luan, who had his second fight in Ultimate, still hasn't managed to win in the organization – he drew with Serginho Moares in his debut, in May this year.

The fight started with the two Brazilians respecting each other a lot. After almost a minute of study on both sides, Erick landed two good kicks to Chagas' waistline, who retaliated with a good straight right. After a low kick from Silva, Luan landed a good cross in the counterattack, which led to Erick being knocked down. The man from Espírito Santo recovered quickly and was back on his feet. Luan landed a good sequence followed by a knee to Erick, who struck. However, with a minute to go, Erick took advantage of an oversight by Luan and landed a good blow to his opponent's face, knocking him down. Silva continued punching and tried to end the fight, but Chagas was saved by the bell.

The second round began with Luan landing a kick on the “low countries” of the Espírito Santo, who asked for a timeout. Recovered, Erick returned to press, but was taken down by the Brazilian. After returning to the stand-up fight, Chagas landed a strong right on Erick, who fell. On the ground, Luan worked ground and pound, but Silva recovered again. At the very end of the round, Erick still managed to sweep and take Luan's back, but he didn't have time to work.

Visibly tired, both fighters slowed down in the final round, leaving the fight with little action. Erick connected good jabs, which found Luan's face with some ease. More fully in the gas, Erick went after his opponent and controlled the actions. After Chagas sought the takedown, Erick defended, made a beautiful turn and immediately went to his opponent's back, locking in the rear naked choke and forcing Luan to give three taps in withdrawal.

Alan Nuguette wins truncated fight against Steven Ray

In the third fight of the preliminary card, Alan Nuguette and Steven Ray had a very truncated fight, decided almost entirely on the ground, but the Brazilian prevailed in the judges' unanimous decision and won the second in a row, and now has a record of four wins and just one loss in the UFC. Steven, who still didn't know what it was like to lose in Ultimate – he had won the two fights he had previously – had his streak of five victories broken.

Nuguette started the fight with a nice takedown, but Ray managed to reverse the position and landed on top. When trying to get up, Alan left his arm exposed and the Scotsman went for an armbar, but was well defended by Nuguette. With the fight on the ground, the Brazilian gained half guard and tried mount, but he didn't have time to work.

In the second round, Nuguette landed a good right cross and attacked Steven's legs and got the takedown in the opening seconds. Ray locked the Brazilian on the ground, preventing him from working ground and pound. However, Alan made a good sweep and caught his opponent's back, demonstrating superiority on the ground. Steven managed to get up, but the fight went to the ground again after the Scot got the takedown and caught the Brazilians' back. In a favorable situation, Ray tried to grab Alan's neck, who intelligently defended himself by holding his rival's left arm until the end of the round.

The beginning of the third round was similar to the second, with Nuguette landing a cross and taking down Steven. On top, Alan was ineffective, but controlled the actions of the fight. After working on the Scot's guard, Nuguette went to Ray's right arm and tried the kimura, well defended by the European, who was just waiting for the bell to ring.

After much insistence, Gregor managed the takedown, but the Brazilian quickly got up. However, the fight returned to the ground, with Gillespie sweeping and catching Glaico's back. Backpacked, he looked for space to finish, but Glaico defended himself well. At the end of the first round, the Brazilian showed signs of fatigue.

The second round started with Glaico aggressive, looking for a straight fight. He landed a right cross followed by a hard knee to the North American's face, coming very close to knocking him out. However, Gregor managed to resist and took the Brazilian down. On the ground, Glaico turned and stood upright again. After a few moments of study on both sides, Gillespie insisted on grappling and took França to the ground, where he controlled the actions until the horn sounded.

In the last round, more of the same. Gillespie came with everything looking for the single leg and took down Glaico, visibly tired. In the Brazilian's guard, Gregor worked well and moved to half guard, before getting mount. There, he worked on top and dominated the Brazilian until the round ended.
