Chad Mendes should be Aldo's next opponent in the UFC

During an interview backstage at UFC 129, held yesterday (30) in Canada, UFC president, Dana White, discussed the possibility of the fighter being the next challenger for the organization's featherweight belt, which is currently held by from Brazilian José Aldo.

Despite admitting his intention to match the fight between Aldo and Mendes, White stressed that it is still too early to confirm the confrontation, as, according to the director, the North American has not yet been contacted regarding the confrontation. However, the big man said that, if his plans are confirmed, the featherweight title fight will probably be held at UFC 133, which is scheduled for August 6th in the United States.
