At 37 years old and coming off three consecutive defeats, the last of which was against Josh Barnett last Saturday (03), at UFC Hamburg, Andrei Arlovski ruled out the possibility of retirement. During the post-event press conference, the veteran stated that he was ready to continue, and minimized the recent stumbles.

“My coaches and I will move forward. I lost to two guys (Stipe Miocic e alistair overeem) who will fight for the title at UFC 203. I still have blood in my eyes, so I'm ready to continue”, guaranteed the fighter.
Asked about the setback against Barnett, the Belarusian praised his opponent's game, and concluded by saying that his next steps depend on his managers, who will decide the former champion's future. “Barnett was better than me. I lost my third fight in a row, I'm going to rest for a few days and I'll come back stronger. At least he didn't knock me out, I was finished. He has great wrestling skills, so it was better. I'm still in the top 10 of the category, so it's up to my managers and the UFC to know what's next for me,” he said.
With 39 fights in his professional career, Arlovski has 25 wins, 13 losses and one fight without result. With two stints in the UFC, he has accumulated 14 triumphs and seven negative results for the organization. In 2005, he won the UFC heavyweight belt by submitting Tim Sylvia in just 47 seconds. After six years working in smaller organizations, Pitbull, as he is known, returned to the franchise in 2014, and scored four consecutive victories. Now, however, there are three setbacks in a row, all in 2016.
