Belfort promises war against Akiyama at UFC 133

After losing his chance at the Ultimate belt after being knocked out by his compatriot Anderson Silva, the brazilian Vitor belfort returns to the Octagon at UFC 133 against the Japanese Yoshihiro akiyama. Showing his eagerness to return to the best in the middleweight division, the fighter from Rio claims to be happy with his return to the Octagon.

 

“I’m excited,” Belfort said. “It’s a happy moment. Now I have a date and I have an opponent”, analyzed the fighter, who promises his commitment to have a new chance to fight for the organization's title.

The fight between Vitor belfort and Yoshihiro Akiyama is scheduled for August 6th, in the city of Philadelphia, in the United States. The show's fight program, in addition to Belfort, features two more Brazilians: Rafael “Sapo” Natal will face Riki Fukuda, while Rogério Minotouro will face off against Rich Franklin.
