New Bellator signing Rory McDonald he is speaking out against his former home. After saying that 'UFC did not respect the fighters in agreement with Reebok', the fighter made a very controversial statement to the North American podcast “The MMA Hour”, stating that Robbie Lawler, former UFC welterweight champion, allegedly used a substance whose results in the anti-doping test would have been four times the limit allowed by USADA (US Anti-Doping Agency) but highlighted that there is no way to prove whether the story is true.

“Just before this conversation, a very interesting thing came to me. Let's see where this goes, but it has something to do with the fight against Robbie Lawler. Very interesting information has now arrived. Let's see what happens. I don't want to say too much about it, but it's something that really caught my attention and I think a lot of people will be interested if it's true, but I have to research more. But it seems like it has the potential to be something really big and that makes me angry. This makes me very angry, to be honest. I feel like I was robbed. I worked hard for that fight and gave it my all. I have always fought honestly and I will do so throughout my career. I don't use any prohibited drugs, any performance enhancement or anything that I don't morally agree with. I always believed in myself and that if I worked hard, worked on my techniques and trained hard I could reach the top and be the best. The fact is that whatever happened, if it's true, it makes me angry in the most intense way. Some test results showed four times the limit allowed for my fight against him. It could be a lie, that's why we have to see it straight. I don’t want to start pointing fingers or anything”, said the Canadian. It is worth remembering that Lawler never tested positive for any banned substance.
