Luiz Banha faces Bulgarian at UFC Rio

the paulista Luiz “Banha” Cané is another Brazilian confirmed on the UFC Rio card. Ultimate officials announced today (17) that the fighter will be in action against the Bulgarian Stanislav Nedkov on August 27th at the HSBC Arena, located in the city of Rio de Janeiro.

Banha is a natural striker, having achieved nine of his 11 career victories by knockout. And it was in this way that the light heavyweight achieved his most recent victory in the UFC by defeating the American Eliot Marshall in the 128th edition of the event, which took place on the 19th.

In turn, Nedkov will debut in the UFC with an undefeated record of 11 fights. The 29-year-old Bulgarian has been inactive for almost a year, as his last fight was held in May last year.
