Rodrigo Minotauro and Vin Diesel
Actor Vin Diesel is in Brazil to promote the film “Fast and Furious 5”. The North American, who is a declared fan of MMA, insisted that his friend and fighter Rodrigo Minotauro, one of the Brazilian heavyweight representatives of the UFC, was present at the party organized for the world premiere of the film, shown this Friday night in Rio de Janeiro.
The meeting between the black belt and actor was marked by memories of old stories. “I met Vin Diesel in Tokyo, in 2002, when he was still fighting for PRIDE (the now extinct Japanese MMA event). He's a big UFC fan and always watches our fights,” said Minotauro, who revealed that the American actor is a good jiu-jitsu fighter.
“I’ve already done some training with him. The guy is skilled, he’s equivalent to a blue belt”, concluded Minotauro.
