The Brazilian Mario Miranda is no longer part of the UFC fighter roster. The fighter was fired from the event after accumulating two consecutive defeats in his career. The confirmation of Miranda's departure from the UFC was confirmed yesterday (14) by the athlete's manager, Ed Soares, who is already drawing up plans for his fighter's return to the organization.

“Mário is upset, but it was something he already expected. Our goal now is to have at least three fights by the end of the year, and then we can try to bring him back to the UFC,” said Soares.

Miranda debuted in the UFC with a loss to the American Gerald harris at UFC Fight Night 21, held in March last year. At UFC 115, the Rio native recovered by knocking out the Canadian David Loiseau, but the defeats to his compatriot Demian Maia, at UFC 118, and for the North American Aaron simpson, at UFC Fight Night 24, declared the end of Miranda's time in the Ultimate.
