The confrontation against Chris Leben responds to the request of the Brazilian fighter, who launched an intense campaign on Twitter to face the North American, even rejecting fights against Brian Stann and the expected rematch against Belfort.
“I want to fight Chris Leben. I think it will be a great show for the fans”, Wanderlei posted on his Twitter on March 16th.
Leben has a record of 25 wins and seven losses as a professional fighter. In his last fight he was defeated by his compatriot Brian Stann at UFC 125, held in January this year.
