Conor McGregor e Nate diaz They once again showed that they are the protagonists of one of the most popular rivalries in MMA today. UFC 202, an event that featured the fighters' rematch, became the third biggest sales of pay-per-view of the organization's history.

The information was released by the UFC itself on the website of the North American broadcaster “ESPN”. UFC 202 would only have been behind UFC 196, which featured the first fight between McGregor and Diaz (sale of 1,5 million packages) and the historic UFC 100, in 2009 (1,6 million). The exact amount of sales for UFC 202, however, was not disclosed.
Originally, McGregor and Diaz were going to have their second duel at UFC 200, in July, but the fight ended up being postponed. Thus, the attraction was led by Miesha Tate x Amanda nunes, And Brock Lesnar x Mark Hunt e Daniel Cormier x Anderson Silva. Its sales, at 1,2 million, were below the numbers achieved by UFC 202.
Last Saturday (20), McGregor got the better of Diaz in a disputed and intense fight, with good moments for both athletes. The Irishman only won the victory with a majority decision from the judges. In March, in the first duel, Diaz won by submission in the second round.
