Luiz Banha celebrates reunion with victory at UFC 128

the paulista Luiz “Banha” Cané felt the taste of victory again this Saturday (19) at UFC 128. Coming from two consecutive setbacks in the event, the Tupiniquim athlete didn't give the North American a chance Eliot Marshall ao knock him out in the first round of the fight.

After the fight, “Banha” admitted he was surprised by the fact that the referee took so long to stop the fight after punishing the North American for almost a minute on the ground. The Brazilian also highlighted that he was satisfied with his performance against Marshall and that he hopes to start a new phase in his career from now on.

However, the athlete highlighted that, if he could make one request to UFC officials, it would be to be present at the second Brazilian edition of the event, which will be held on August 27th in Rio de Janeiro.

 

“I want to be back as soon as possible. I would like to be selected for UFC Rio, but my main goal is to become UFC champion. Ultimate. I’ll face anyone they put in front of me”, concluded “Banha”.
