UFC Fight Night 92, an event that will take place this Saturday (6), in Salt Lake City, in the United States, will have great importance for the future of two Brazilians in the organization. Former challenger for the middleweight belt, Thales had a strong momentum in the organization, with five consecutive victories. However, when he was approaching another chance to fight for the title, the Nova União athlete suffered two setbacks in a row, to Michael Bisping (who would later win the belt) and Gegard Mousasi. Now, Thales will try to beat Chris Camozzi to avoid a third defeat in a row, which could have serious consequences for his career.
The same applies to the TUF Brazil 1 champion, Ron Jason. The Ceará native has two defeats, a win and a no-contest in his four most recent appearances in the Octagon. In the last one, he had won Damon Jackson with a quick finish, but his triumph was revoked after being caught in an anti-doping test.
After serving a one-year suspension, Jason returns to the octagon with a tremendous challenge ahead of him: Dennis Bermudez, ranked eighth in the featherweight category. If he wins, the Brazilian will not only be able to escape the beheading, but also move into prominent positions in the UFC.

The main fight of the night does not feature any big UFC stars. However, Yair Rodriguez e Alex Caceres They promise to provide a good show for those who attend the event.
Currently 13th in the featherweight rankings, Mexican Rodriguez is one of the names to watch in the 66 kg division. Dynamic and creative, “Pantera”, as he is known, has been the target of major promotion by the UFC to promote fights in the Latin market. And, in the octagon, he has been responding: in his last fight, he defeated the also promising André Fili with a cinematic knockout.
Caceres has an irregular record, with 12 wins, eight losses and one no-contest, but he has had some notable fights in his career. “Bruce Leeroy” has already beaten names like Sergio Pettis and Cole Miller, and, facing Rodriguez, he will try to make the necessary leap towards UFC stardom.
