Recovering from surgery on his right knee, the Brazilian Wanderlei Silva should return to training soon. The middleweight underwent new medical examinations yesterday (28) and revealed that by the beginning of April he will be cleared to resume his physical activity routine.
“The doctor told me that the pain I still feel in my knee is normal and that I will be able to train normally in four weeks. I’ll come with everything, I promise”, wrote the tough guy on his Twitter.
Still referring to the post-operative period, Wand highlighted that the support received from his fans was of fundamental importance for him to overcome one of the most complicated phases of his career. Also through his microblog profile, the athlete showed his gratitude to those who always helped him during more than 15 years as a professional.
“I have the most loyal fans in MMA. You helped me a lot in my most difficult moments. This is when you meet your true friends. You guys are awesome.”, thanked Wanderlei.
