The benefit to Lesnar is complex, but it happens because the altered result of the sample taken on June 28th – 11 days before UFC 200 – was only sent to the fighter on July 14th. On this date, the second test carried out at UFC 200, on July 9, had already been carried out.

As Lesnar underwent another test without being informed of the result of the previous one, he will not be judged based on the first positive sample.

Understand the case

Lesnar was caught in two drug tests. The first was held on June 28, a few days before UFC 200. At the time, Hunt reacted with anger and demanded Lesnar's salary, otherwise I would leave Ultimate. In the second exam, the positive test occurred on the day of the fight.

According to the newspaper “Los Angeles Times”, the accused substance would be an estrogen blocker, used by athletes to reduce the production of female hormones after using anabolic steroids. The UFC and the Nevada Athletic Commission have not yet commented on the matter, but Lesnar's victory should be converted into a defeat on his record.
