In the duel, Page won by knockout after connecting with a flying knee to the Brazilian's head. The blow caused Cyborg's skull to sink in, and the photo of the injury impressed everyone in recent days.

However, moments after the knockout, Page made a joke using the “Pokémon Go” app as a theme: he put on a cap and threw a “pokeball” towards Cyborg. “I just captured a Cyborg for myself,” he said shortly afterwards.

In an interview with the North American website “MMA Fighting”, Cyborg was offended by the attitude. “Page proved to be a great athlete, a skilled striker. But he's proving to be an asshole because he doesn't respect his opponents before or after the fight. He could become a celebrity with his talent, serving as an inspiration to other athletes, instead of acting like this. Throwing things after the fight... Honestly, he's a clown. He doesn’t behave like a champion should”, he criticized.

Despite the impressive fracture, Cyborg believes he will be able to fight again in a few months. At 38 years old, the Mato Grosso native has been competing in professional MMA since 1997, with 21 wins and 18 losses.
