A few days after winning at UFC 200, Gegard Mousasi He has already turned his focus to “digging” another fight in the Octagon. His target is Vitor belfort, whom he accuses of running away from confrontation since the end of the last decade.

On his Twitter account, Mousasi even announced the duel for UFC Fight Night 94, which takes place on September 24, in Brasília (DF). However, he went back and criticized the Brazilian heavily. “After years of running away, Vitor belfort finally agreed to fight with me. The fans won a victory,” she wrote, rectifying it shortly afterwards.

“I'm sorry, April 1st came early. Vitor belfort you will never fight me. If he wanted to, this would have happened years ago. He's been afraid to fight me since the Affliction days. It’s a shame for the fans #coward #yellow”, said the Armenian-Dutch athlete.

Mousasi knocked out the fellow Brazilian Thiago Marreta still in the first round of UFC 200, last Saturday (9). Belfort entered the octagon for the last time on May 14, in Curitiba, in a fight in which he was dominated by Ronaldo Jacare.
