“There are a lot of guys interested. We will be able to close a fight. Daniel Cormier will fight this week”, announced Dana White.

Some fighters have already publicly expressed their interest in facing Cormier at UFC 200, such as former challenger Alexander Gustafson, Gegard Mousasi, who will face Thiago 'Marreta' in the same event, and even the new middleweight champion Michael Bisping. The latter, however, has already been discarded by the president.
