Todd duffee
Todd duffee appeared in 2008, in Jungle Fight, as a great revelation from American Top Team, after that the heavyweight debuted in the UFC with the organization's fastest knockout (7 seconds), but the athlete's career did not go as expected. The North American left ATT and accumulated two consecutive defeats, to Mike russow in UFC-114 and for alistair overeem at K-1 Dynamite 2010. Now, willing to rediscover the winning path, Duffee can return to the team led by Brazilians Conan Silveira and Ricardo Libório.
The information was released first hand to the website SUPER FIGHTS, through the team's physical trainer, Stefane Dias, who commented on Todd's request to return to the team that revealed him.
“After Todd Dufee left the American Top Team he was a little lost, but last week he came to the gym and asked to come back,” said Stefane, who does not guarantee the American's return to the team's roster of athletes. “Master Conan and Master Libório haven't decided yet, they're seeing if it's worth it, but he wants to return to training with us”, she added. Stefane also commented on the real reason for Todd's departure from ATT and guarantees that the heavyweight made the wrong choice and ended up paying for it.
“Everyone's eyes were on him, a young, undefeated athlete who in his first fight broke the record for the fastest knockout in the UFC… He ended up losing his mind and what happened”, he added.
