Interview with Anderson Silva – “I trained everything for this fight”

The UFC-126 Press Conference took place last night in the United States, an event that features as its main attraction the fight between Brazilians Anderson Silva e Vitor belfort, valid for the organization's middleweight belt. Focused and irreverent, Anderson guarantees that he learned from the fight against Chael Sonnen, but it will be fun to face Belfort. Check out the statements made by the current owner of the belt.

Question: After the fight against the Chael Sonnen, did you change your training for your stand-up fight?

PUBLICITY:

Anderson Silva: “I changed some, others I didn’t. But I don't have much to change. I will use the same strategy as always.”

Question: You are an undefeated fighter who has already defended the belt more than seven times. He is a renowned athlete. Do you still have the motivation to fight?

Anderson Silva: “I'm motivated, because I do what I like and what I do best. This is gratifying and this is my main motivation.”

Question: Do you think Vitor might want to take the fight to the ground? How prepared are you for this?

Anderson Silva: “It is impossible to predict this. I'm training standing up, on my side, on my back, underwater, with my foot on the wall. I trained everything I could. I just know it will be as funny as always.”
