Police in Edmonton, Canada, arrested two suspects for intentionally running over former UFC fighter Ryan Jimmo. Anthony Getschel, 23, and Jordan Wagner, 21, are being held in custody and have been charged with direct involvement in the crime.

According to the police report, Getschel was the one driving the pickup truck that ran over Jimmo. He will be charged with three crimes: second-degree murder, criminal negligence, dangerous driving causing death without rendering aid,

Wagner, who was in the passenger seat, will respond as an accomplice in the 'help after the murder'.

Jimmo and the suspects were involved in a fight in the parking lot of a bar last Sunday. After the fight, the fighter went towards his car, but Getschel accelerated his pickup truck and threw his car over the athlete. He subsequently fled until he was arrested this Wednesday.

PUBLICITY:

Jimmo was rescued by an ambulance, but he succumbed to his injuries and died in hospital.
