Current Invicta FC featherweight champion, Chris Cyborg never hid his desire to face Ronda Rousey in the UFC octagon. However, the duel nowadays appears to be further away than ever from happening, which has caused the Brazilian to start looking for another alternative: the current Ultimate champion, Miesha Tate.

Cyborg regularly fights in the featherweight division, with a 66 kg limit. Even so, Tate recently demonstrated his goal of facing the Brazilian, even though his original category is bantamweight (61 kg). On his Twitter account, Cyborg not only proposed the duel but also suggested that it take place at the UFC's debut in New York, on November 12th.
"Hey, Miesha Tate, if none of us fight with Ronda Rousey at UFC 205, let me give you the test you asked the UFC to give. #CampeãvsCampeã”, posted the Brazilian fighter.
In fact, it seems unlikely that Ronda will return in November. UFC president, Dana White, revealed that the fighter will undergo knee surgery, which would allow her to return to action only at the beginning of 2017.
But, before thinking about Cyborg, Miesha has another commitment scheduled, also against a Brazilian: she will defend the bantamweight belt at UFC 200, on July 9, against Amanda nunes.
