After spending three months dedicating himself to competing on the program “Dancing with the Stars”, the original version of “Dancing with the Stars” in the United States, paige vanzant is ready to return to the UFC octagon. The “Ultimate sweetheart” already has a date, opponent and location for her next fight: it will be on August 27th, in Vancouver, Canada, against Bec Rawlings.
VanZant, who was runner-up on the TV show, will reap the rewards of her fame when she fights at UFC on FOX 21, an event that will be broadcast on open television in the United States. At 22 years old, the fighter will try to recover from the defeat she suffered in her most recent fight, in December, when she was submitted by Rose namajunas. Before that, she won three fights in Ultimate.
Rawlings, five years older, has two consecutive victories in the Octagon, over Lisa Ellis and Seo Hee Ham. Previously, in her first fight in the UFC, she had lost to Heather Jo Clark.
This is the third fight confirmed for UFC on FOX 21. The others are Anthony Pettis x Charles of the Bronx and Gareth McLellan x Alessio diChirico.
