UFC fighter, Alexandre Cacareco is no longer a member of the Chute Boxe team. This Tuesday, the leader of the Curitiba academy, Rudimar Ferdrigo, announced through an official statement that the black belt is no longer part of the team.
“Alexandre Cacareco was a great fighter who made great friends within Chute Boxe and we wish him the best of luck in his career,” said Rudimar. Speaking to the R7 portal, the “Mestrão”, as he is known, said the real reason for Cacareco's removal from the team.
“It was the athlete’s lack of interest in the team, his lack of commitment. He has made it clear that he wants to stand on his own two feet in his career. So much so that I haven't been able to speak to him for days. You will find out about the shutdown via the internet,” he said.
Despite being away from Chute Boxe, Alexandre Cacareco has an appointment scheduled in Ultimate, against his compatriot Rousimar Toquinho at UFC on Versus 3, an event scheduled for March 3, in Louisville, United States.
