Wanderlei Silva should return to the octagon against Brian Stann

In the final phase of recovery from rib and knee injuries, which kept him out of combat for more than 12 months, Wanderlei Silva he already has a likely opponent to return to the octagon. After exchanging several provocations with Chael Sonnen (see here), the Brazilian hoped to face the North American, but as Sonnen's contract with Ultimate is suspended due to a court case (remember here), Wand's opponent must be someone else. According to the UFC president, Dana White, in an interview with the MMA Fighting website, Wanderlei must measure his strength against Brian stann, former WEC champion, and after defeating Chris Leben, in his last fight at UFC-125, asked to face Silva.
