Diego nunes made his Ultimate debut this Saturday, where he surprised the favorite Mike Thomas Brown at UFC-125 and scored his sixteenth career victory, in 17 fights. After the triumph against the former WEC champion, the Brazilian commented on his debut in the most famous octagon in the world.
“It was the best feeling ever! A duty, a job done. These two months were a war in the gym and today I have a dream come true”, said the Brazilian athlete in an interview with the North American website MMA Fanhouse. Diego commented on how the fight against Mike Brown went and praised his opponent, who won with a split decision from the judges.
“I'll be honest, it was a war, back and forth. Merits to Mike Brown, but thank God I managed to win”, added Diego.
