One of the main differences between Asian and Western MMA is the release of blows such as stomps and goal shots (kicks to the head of an opponent lying on the ground). And it was precisely one of these attacks that caused the most impressive knockout of the 43rd edition of the ONE FC event held this Friday (27th) in Thailand.
Russian Timofey Nastyukhin scored a knockout just 6 seconds into the fight and ended the match with a goal shot at Australian Rob Lisita. Nastyukhin already opened the fight with a well-aimed cross that knocked Lisita down and still had time to land a kick to his rival's head before the central referee intervened.
With the triumph, Nastyukhim expanded his professional record to ten wins and two losses. The Russian was coming off a submission loss in the first round to the Brazilian Herbert Burns, in September of last year.
