The Brazilian Jorge “Michelan” had a busy end to the year. The Checkmat athlete had two fights in just three weeks, winning both matches, including playing in Jordan, where the black belt made his debut outside of Brazil. In an interview with the website SUPER FIGHTS, Michelan talked about the experience in distant lands.
“The coolest thing about Jordan was seeing the Dead Sea. It never crossed my mind to visit a place like that. It was incredible”, said the fighter. Michelan also commented on how his fight was against the Indian Bhupesh Kambl, in Desert Fight.
“I put it down, passed it, mounted it, hit it twice and the guy asked me to stop. I thought it would be a tougher fight, but everything went well. It was the first international victory, I hope it will be the first of many. Thank God, I finished the year well”, he analyzed.
