UFC’s “Apple of the Eye” in the women’s strawweight category, paige vanzant will soon make his film debut. The young athlete was confirmed in the cast of “Kickboxer: Retaliation”, a film that does not yet have a name in Portuguese and which will be the sequel to the classic starring Jean-Claude Van Damme.

According to the website “Deadline”, VanZant will have a role written specifically for her: she will be Gamon, a 26-year-old young woman who has great fighting and weapons skills, in addition to having major links with organized crime.

The fighter caught the attention of producers for her participation in the reality show “Dancing with the Stars”, the “Dance of the Celebrities” in the United States. VanZant reached the final of the program, which will be played this Monday (23).

“Kickboxer: Retaliation” will be the sequel to “Kickboxer: Vengeance”, which will be released in August this year. This, in turn, will star Van Damme and will feature several MMA fighters, such as Georges St Pierre, Cain Velazquez, Tyron woodley e Fabricio Werdum.
