Since he was knocked out by Conor McGregor in December last year and lost the UFC featherweight belt, José Aldo He has been dealing with provocations from the Irishman's fans on a daily basis. Most of the time, they simply post the message “13 seconds” (total fight time in UFC 194). Aldo's patience with jokes, however, ran out and the Brazilian vented about the situations he has been dealing with lately.

“F***ing hell. This sucks, motherfucker! What a nuisance! But it's part of it. I don't know why they haven't forgotten me to this day. Even photos that I post with friends, they also go on my friends' social networks and curse. I think they know how strong I am and they know that next time he (McGregor) won't have the luck he had and that I will win and become champion again. But for me it’s not a problem,” said Aldo, backstage at UFC 198, last weekend, in Curitiba (PR).

Aldo also spoke about how he has personally been dealing with the result, almost six months after the event, and spoke about his expectations for the fight against Frankie Edgar at UFC 200. “The defeat was going to happen one day and I always prepared for it. It had already happened once, but for him I didn't have to miss it. But it happened, it's part of it, I have to accept it and move on. My motivation is still very much alive and that’s what’s important. Beating Frankie is the next step I have to take to get the belt back. So I'm going to go in there, beat him, with a lot of respect, and then face that s***”, he guaranteed.

After losing the linear featherweight belt, which he had owned since the inauguration of the category in Ultimate, José Aldo will have the chance to regain a title soon without his next fight in the organization. The Brazilian faces the North American Frankie Edgar at UFC 200, scheduled for July 9th in Las Vegas (USA), for the interim featherweight belt and the right to face the current champion Conor McGregor shortly thereafter.
