Anderson Silva He is already recovering from the surgery that took him out of UFC 198 at short notice, an event held last weekend in Curitiba (PR). The former champion, who had his gallbladder removed after suffering inflammation, posted a photo of his bandages and assured his fans that he will return soon.
On his Instagram account, Anderson spoke publicly for the first time on the subject. “In recovery, guys. Thank you very much for all of your strength. I’ll be back soon”, wrote the champion.
Anderson would face Uriah Hall on the main card of the Paraná event, but, in the week before the fight, he fell ill and was taken to the hospital. The fighter's trainers have already indicated that “Spider” now plans to return at UFC 200 in July.
