At the beginning of the last decade, Anderson formed a team of stars at Chute Boxe alongside Wanderlei Silva, José Pelé, Murilo Ninja and a beginner Mauritius Shogun. However, his departure from the team was turbulent, which still generates discord to this day.

"The feeling? I was upset because right away he went to the opposing team. It was the first big 'betrayal', let's put it that way, because of the rivalry there was. Today it may even be normal. But he immediately chose a rival gym,” said Fedrigo, hours before Anderson’s departure from UFC 198, in an interview with the “Combate” channel website.

According to the coach, the atmosphere with Anderson became even more tense with the biography released by “Spider” a few years ago, in which he blasts the leader of Chute Boxe. “He wrote a biography saying some unpleasant things and it turned into a somewhat complicated, somewhat annoying situation. It was completely unnecessary. I was surprised because personally, being face to face, he always had the opportunity to speak and he didn't say anything to me”, he added.

Anderson was scheduled to fight at UFC 198, this Saturday (14), in Curitiba, but ended up being cut from the event at the last minute after suffering gallbladder inflammation.
