Dustin Poirier replaces José Aldo at UFC-125

UFC officials defined today (24) the Brazilian's replacement José Aldo at UFC 125. This is the North American Dustin poirier, a 21-year-old athlete who has a record of eight wins and just one loss.

 

PUBLICITY:

Poirier will face his compatriot Josh Grispi No. January 1st, a date that will mark the debut of the featherweight category in the North American organization. The fight in question will be part of the main card of this edition, which will be hosted in the city of Las Vegas.  

 

PUBLICITY:

Aldo was cut from UFC 125 after injuring a vertebra during training for his debut at the event. On that occasion, the Nova União fighter would defend his organization's featherweight belt for the first time (check here). The expected recovery time for the Brazilian is at least one month.
