The UFC will return to the capital of the United Arab Emirates in 2011. The organization's president, Dana White, confirmed that an edition of the event will be held on March 19th in Abu Dhabi.
The only doubt that remains for the North American leader is regarding the structure that will house the fights, as the Concert Arena, where UFC 112 was held, was demolished to build an operations center for the Ferrari team, belonging to Formula 1.
“I can say that we will return to Abu Dhabi next year. I am confident that we will soon have some news on the matter,” said White.
The edition in question is probably number 128, where two fights are already scheduled for the main card. In the most anticipated fight of the night, the Paraná native Mauricio “Shogun” will put his light heavyweight belt up for grabs against the former champion of the category, Rashad evans. Now the Bahian Rogério “Minotouro” will face the experienced Tito Ortiz looking for his third victory in the organization.
