'I'm missing punches in the face,' says VanZant

Strawweight division fighter works on her physical fitness to return to the octagon and questions her fans about the date of her return

Considered the “apple of the UFC’s eye” in the strawweight division, paige vanzant suffered a crushing defeat in his most recent fight, in December last year. Even so, the young fighter is counting down the days until she returns to the UFC, since, according to her own definition, she misses “punches in the face”.

VanZant, 22 years old, was defeated by Rose namajunas at UFC Fight Night 80, in Las Vegas (USA). On that occasion, the athlete suffered a harsh punishment, with facial injuries and a submission in the last round. However, she is already working thinking about her next fight.

On her Instagram account, the fighter posted: “Getting defined again. I really miss punches in the face. Fans, which future card do you want to see me fight on? Let the UFC know”, said the fighter, who, however, had already had her participation in the historic UFC 200, in July, discarded.

VanZant has a record of six wins and two losses in professional MMA, with a 3-1 record in the UFC. Recently, the athlete gained great notoriety in the United States with her participation in the show “Dança dos Famosos” on North American television.
