Miesha reveals Ronda's confusion, insults and threat to Paige VanZant

According to Miesha, Ronda got into a real mess with the young woman paige vanzant, Ultimate's new favorite, during a promotional event for the sporting goods brand Reebok.

“Paige and I have spoken, and we've been polite to each other, but we don't know each other that well. Anyway, she felt like she had to come and tell me what happened: 'Miesha, I have to tell you what happened with Ronda. We were at a Reebok event and were going to do a photo shoot. I was looking for her so we could take a photo together. When I asked about it, the Reebok people told me not to do it. I asked why, and they told me not to do that, and advised me to stay away from her and not even think about asking to take that photo,’” Tate said on commentator Joe Rogan’s podcast.

The champion followed. “From what Paige told me, Ronda arrived later and started looking for her. When she found her, she started saying things like 'Hey, you son of a bitch, how dare you cross me here? You went to congratulate Holly holm for beating me. Fuck you, skinny as hell!'. '. I told her, 'Welcome to my world. I'm glad you could see this other side of her.' Paige then responded to Ronda: 'I'm sorry if I offended you, but I have the right to congratulate whoever I want. I congratulated Rose namajunas for beating me and for fighting so well. I just congratulated Holly holm, it wasn't anti-Ronda at all'. But Ronda continued the insults. As I have never been a fan of Ronda, for me this is totally expected,” she concluded.

In an interview with the North American website TMZ, VanZant confirmed the story and classified the episode as “shocking”. “It seems that I (VanZant) offended Ronda by congratulating Holly holm after your victory. What happened was shocking and completely unnecessary,” said the young fighter.
